This is my personal pick of the bluebell shots I have seen this year. I would certainly crop all the blown highlights out though. For me the shot just seems a lot richer once you do that.

great jake - i might have been inclined to be more bold and crop below further green line - concentrating just on the BB's - fab light

I've got to try and find some woods this year before all the bluebells are gone. Nice shot :)

Thanks Debbie. Yes, this will be the last few days of bluebells now. They are beggining to stretch out and will be fading soon.

Thanks mate, not sure if you would find this bit of the woods tho....

This is my least fav of my submissions personally - i find it a little obvious and the background a mess but of course as with all of these I like it.

My main gripe over this weekend is that i've been giving workshops to someone and every time I try and concentrate I get 'Justin...' coming through the woods lol.

If you are coaching then maybe you should go without a camera - remember the lesson we saw at Portland Bill? You can't really teach someone whilst you are concentrating on your own thing and you can't really concentrate on your own thing when you are supposed to be teaching someone else......

very nice shot. Id love to be able to head to Micheldever but its beyond my boundaries.
My photo matey Dave has been there every year for a while and he always says its by far the nicest place to capture bluebell woodland images.

I'm appologize for the negativity in advance ;)
This is about the only place around me which I enjoy photographing (for 2 weeks of the year), Hampshire is almost entirely farm land and private estates and crys of "Ger Offa my land". I spend a fortune on diesel to get me outta here for most of my shoots and resent hugely, from a photographic point of view, the place which I live. It's arse around here unless you want shots of arable fields and quaint villages, which I don't.......

One of the best bluebell shots i have seen for a while, and you managed it without the sky getting blown out too much :)

Well done Jake

Thanks Gordon. The sky is a problem but it was slightly cloudy so is almost held by the grad filter.
