Memories of an Islandby *JakeSpain

An image from my trip to Lundy Island last year.

I had forgotten about this shot. By chance I was sorting out my image folders and discovered it again. I remember not wanting to have to go through the extensive processing to combine the 2 exposures and in the process of putting it off I had forgotten it even existed....

I was actually shooting in another direction (away from the sun for once!) at the time. I hadn't anticipated these fast moving clouds being lit from behind by the first light and I turned the camera to try to find a composition. Luckily these rock stacks made a stunning subject.

I was just thinkiing those rocks REALLY reminded me of some I studies at St David's Head! (before I read the description)
... maybe I should have been a geologist after all
